Inspiration

A surprise shipment was delivered up on Monday: two new products I designed over the Summer. I never dreamed of seeing them this side of 2025.

Having both the Soane and British Museums on our doorstep providing an inexhaustible source of inspiration for nearly two decades, it seems well overdue to finally create ‘The Museum Marble Cup’ and ‘The Museum Marble Beaker’.

Based on details taken from the Egyptian, Greek and Roman Galleries and created using creamy Calacatta Viola marble, richly veined with deep plum and soft grey tones. A large carved cup and a beaker now readily available to you to add to life’s rich tapestry.
